WELCOME TO STARBASE MINNESOTA!

STARBASE is an exciting and rigorous science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) program that since 1993 has inspired and educated over 41,000 Twin Cities' youth. Students, grades 4-6, think like scientists and engineers, designing, testing and experimenting in an exciting aerospace environment using state of the art technology.

STARBASE Minnesota’s hands-on curriculum, unique aerospace resources, and dynamic instructors create a powerful combination that brings out the best in students.  Science and math are transformed from abstract, isolated subjects to concepts that are interdependent and relevant in today's scientific and technological world.

STARBASE puts the fun back into learning!  Students discover solutions to real scientific and engineering problems. They experiment with rockets, rovers, air launchers, GPS, Mars landers, vacuum pumps, wind tunnels and wind turbines; they learn the engineering process utilizing computer aided design software and 3D printers allowing them to build a prototype and test their designs. They tour aircraft and learn from STEM industry professionals about careers.

These experiences and many more are simply a week in the life of STARBASE students where the universe becomes larger and larger and futures brighter. Annual Results
